My lungs breathed the clarity of the air. I got wrapped up in plenty of layers and was on the water by 8am where I paddled about for the next couple of hours. The route takes in nine Munros including five of the elite 4000 feet peaks. After doing the Lochaber Traverse last year I dreamt up another plan of undertaking a similar trip hiking the Munros over 4000ft in the Cairngorms.
